2D is the black and white traditional ultrasound used for diagnostic scans in your physician's office. 

3D is a still golden volume rendering of baby’s face and body. 
4D is a 3D ultrasound in motion (video). Sometimes during 4D ultrasounds we get lucky and see baby smile, yawn, wave, or a number of cute things.
HDLive is the latest 3D/4D ultrasound technology that shows skin tone and light to create a realistic image of baby. 

Yes, we do offer 8k image enhancement! You can add-on an 8k image enhancement to our regular 4D/HD Live ultrasound or any of the packages. The image is enhanced after your ultrasound session and will be emailed to you in 4-5 business days (Monday - Friday). We are happy to help you choose which image would be best for 8k enhancement! 

Absolutely! Ultrasound technology has been studied over the last 35+ years and there have been no proven side effects to mother or baby from its proper use. 3D and 4D ultrasound use the same frequency as your doctor uses in the traditional 2D ultrasound. We adhere to FDA guidelines.

As early as 6 weeks gestation. 

As early as 15 weeks gestation. 

We recommend scheduling your appointment around 26 weeks gestation depending on several factors. If you have questions about this, please give us a call and we can go over everything and give you our recommendation for the best time frame.

Water, water, and more water! Drink plenty of water starting at least three days leading up to your appointment. We encourage you to drink 2-3 liters per day for at least 3 days leading up to your appointment to give us the best chance at getting clear images. More water means clear and plentiful amniotic fluid which is essential for good 4D imaging. 

There are many things out of the sonographer's control like the baby’s position, an increase in maternal tissue, amount of amniotic fluid, positioning of baby near the placenta, cord or extremities in the face, etc. So unfortunately there are no guarantees of the images. We do everything we can to try to reposition or wake the baby and give you the best images and experience. Some of our ultrasound packages include a complimentary return visit if baby is not cooperative for a 4D ultrasound. 

We only allow one party in the studio at a time so that every group can enjoy their session without interruption. We space all of our appointments so that no one feels rushed and you can enjoy your experience. We ask that everyone plan to arrive approximately 10 minutes prior to your appointment time. When you arrive in our parking lot, check in by text or call 334-707-2266. We will text you when you can come in and you will be greeted by your sonographer. 

Yes! We encourage our clients to invite whomever they would like! We provide comfortable seating with a large viewing screen and we love providing a unique experience for your loved ones to bond with you and your baby during this exciting time.

We are located near downtown Auburn in the same shopping center as Amsterdam Cafe and Coffee Mafia. Our address is 420 S Gay St, Auburn, AL 36830.

There is free parking in front of our studio, behind our studio, and to the left of our studio in the church parking lot.  You are welcome to park anywhere that says "Amsterdam Cafe Parking".

We do not accept insurance as this is elective. We do accept cash and Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover.
